Well, week one of Operation Puppy went well! I stayed within my points every day and worked out every day and was rewarded with a 3.6 pound loss! That was certainly motivating!!
Week 2 began with several out of the ordinary situations making it tricky to stick to the plan, but I was sure to keep reminding myself that not only would I be thrilled with the way I looked, but I could have a PUPPY TOO!!
The plan for this week is to use no more flex points (I used 15 this weekend) and to work out each day. Tonight is Y-Cycling which is a work OUT!
Of course, the stress of life is already calling to me to eat but I’ve made an important discovery. It isn’t so much that I want to eat something that I can’t have…it is that I just want to be able to stick whatever I want in my mouth and not have to worry about how many points it is and how many points I have left. When I try to think of all the things I would eat if I could, there are very few things that I couldn’t really just go ahead and have. Makes them seem much less daunting that way.
So, this is a boring post for a Monday! Hope the rest of your day is much more exciting!

Okay Molly, you have me on a thread!! I didn’t see a post last Monday. How is operation puppy going. I want a new puppy also, but my baby (he is 11) would not be a very happy guy if mommy got a new one right now. I have to dream with someone so it will be you through this post. What kind of puppy are you getting!! Stay focused and bring/post a picture of the little tyke when you get the baby.
