Week “One” Weigh In

As I mentioned I am on a goal to get back to my WW goal. I have set a personal goal to reach my WW goal by spring break. We are going to Florida so I would love to nbe there by then. That means 12 pounds to lose in 10 weeks. I know that is a very ambitious goal for me just because I tend not to lose the weight very quickly despite the fact that it can pack on quicker than I can blink.
I worked hard last week. Journaled everything that I ate. No more of this secret thoughts of “not journaling it so it really didn’t happen”. Who am I fooling? My body knows better. So I wrote everything down all seven days. I worked out five days. Most of those five days I worked out twice a day. Not because I was on some crazy-workout- lose- weight-as-fast-as-I-can. But it was more a love-my-new-Zumba-dvds-so-much-that-I-want-to-workout-twice-. Plus last week Megan didn’t have speech therapy OR preschool so our daily schedule was the most free it could possibly be.
Did I eat perfect all week? Nope. But I worked hard. I worked hard at thinking about what I put in my mouth before it was too late and I had already swallowed it.
So my hard work, dedication, & focus paid off. 1.4 pounds. I was aiming for one pound so I am happy.
Back to journaling, working out and eating right. I know that I cannot rest on the success of last week. This is a new week which requires focus and dedication.

That is awesome, what a motivating great start to the year! Keep up the great work and the upbeat attitude, it is contagious!
