My Favorite Salad

This is one of my all-time favorite salads. Today I am just going to tell you the basic “recipe”. The nutritional information will all depend on how much cheese, meat, and dressings you use.
I fill a huge bowl of romaine salad mix with all kinds of veggies including cherry tomatoes. Then I use my Bolthouse Farms Ranch Dressing.I sprinkle a little low-fat shredded cheddar cheese on top. I shredded some boneless skinless chicken breasts that I have cooked up earlier and keep in the refrigerator just for this salad. Depending on my day, how hungry I am and if I worked our or not will depend on how much chicken I use. I use atleast a couple of ounces. I use a little BBQ sauce on the shredded chicken and heat this up. (I am hunting for a new low-cal BBQ sauce since my favorite from KC Masterpiece is no more. BOO) Once the chicken is warm, I top the salad with the chicken. Yummy. This satisfies me everytime. I also like to eat it even in the fall & winter when I am craving warm food. The warmed chicken on top of the salad helps me to handle the cold salad.
This salad is so good. I made it for my lunch today. Megan had asked for something else which I fixed her. We were eating and she asked for some of my salad. OK. I gave her some. I had used all of the lettuce we had in the house so I didnt have the option of making her her own salad. She ate the first bit that I gave her and she asked for more. OK. So I gave her more. I was finishing up my salad and she wanted more. Sorry. All gone. Megan was so upset. So if a three-year old likes this salad, I bet you would too.
