Shaking Things Up a Bit

I have stuck to my workouts pretty well in the last two weeks. There were a few mornings that I opted for sleeping in (which my body desperately needed) for an extra hour rather than going to the gym.
This morning on my way to the gym, I figured that I would shake things up a bit. I really enjoy using the elliptical machine and haven’t ran since we had to put my treadmill in the storage unit when we put our house for sale. So I made myself run.
Well, all I can really say is that my body is not happy tonight. Oh do I hurt. It is so sad to me how quickly you can lose “it”. WOW. I am planning on working in running more to my workouts. I am thinking of doing 50/50. We shall see. I need variety.
I have had to shake up my eating some too. It has been so dreary and depressing for the last couple of weeks. I swear we have only had two days of sunshine. I am in desperate need of sun!~ I find that when it gets cold out that I tend to crave hot foods. So the last few days I have switched out from my typical salad with BBQ chicken on it to a frozen meal. That seems to help my eating the rest of the day.
I hope to find a few free minutes in the next few days to post three new food reviews. I seriously don’t know where the time goes. I have all of these good intentions to post things more frequently and it seems like time evaporates. I will try to do better. Got to go get my girls in bed.
