Vitamin Water

I was excited to try Glaceau’s Vitaminwater10. I had heard great things about it. I am not the best at remembering to take my vitamins. So I thought it would be great to be able to drink them in my water.
Glaceau recently released the low calorie version of their popular Vitaminwater. I picked out the “Energy” – tropical citrus flavor. I hate to say but I wasn’t gulping it down. It didn’t have much taste. I guess I prefer to have a stronger flavor if I can going to drink something. I won’t be buying this again. It kind of tasted like a watered-down Gatorade. I am not a huge Gatorade drinker. Well, actually I never drink Gatorade.

Good to know. I actually bought the G2 by Gatorade, and it isn’t too bad. Not much flavor either though. Todd likes it and I am happy to buy him a lower calorie alternative to the regular stuff if he will drink it.

You are better off to drink water, just plain water and take a vitamin or whatever vitamins your doctor suggests. There are not enough to actually count as a vitamin except Vitamin C.
During the 1/2 marathon I drank tons of water, before, during and after. My walking partner drank gatorade or whatever they provided the first half of the race . She began to swell so badly I had the EMTs check her out. They told her to drink water. We got her two bottles at every stop and it pulled her through.
Those drinks make me thirsty because of the sweet taste and believe me there is nobody on earth that loves sweets more than me.
I add the flavors to mine off and on all day. My favorite is the berrry blue typhoon made by Hawaiian punch. If you find it and like it stock up it is only seasonal. It was a rough winter, I had to drink it sparingly.

Thanks for the suggestion Joy. I have started looking for the Berry Blue Typhoon. So far no luck. But I will keep looking.
