Shoutin’ from the Rooftop

I discovered this new treat from Weight Watchers several weeks ago. I know I have mentioned before that I like to “spend” any APs (activity points) on a special treat at the end of the day after the girls are in bed. Many nights Chris likes to have ice cream and it was too much of a deprivation factor for me to just sit there. I was setting myself up for failure, I think.

This is Weight Watcher’s new “Candy Bar” ice cream bars. Let me just say that these knocked my socks off. I was a little disappointed when I unwrapped the first one until I tasted it. Whoooohooooo! The chocolate coating is nice & thick. It has a great taste. Doesn’t taste like any “diet food”. The ice cream is topped with caramel & peanuts.  No, it isn’t covered in thick caramel and loaded down with peanuts but there is enough that you can taste it.

One evening, Chris was out of his ice cream & I offered him one. He thinks that most of my stuff tastes like it is diet food which cracks me up. Anyway, he took me up on the offer. He even asked for another one the next evening. They taste a lot like a Snickers’ ice cream bar.

I will be buying these again without a doubt! Super good for a treat.
