Sounds like you've been having a rough time lately. Hope things get better soon, and that they find out what your daughter is allergic to.

I don't miss living in the country, that's for sure. My parents had a well, and the water had iron in it ... Sometimes, it turned our white clothes rusty.

I hope that everything works out for the best with Sydney. Hopefully, they will be able to pinpoint what caused the reaction. I totally understand the water issue. I went through a whole year washing my hair with water brought from other people's houses. Our well water was orange, with rust, and we had to wash allof our white clothes at my grandmother's house. Getting "city" water ran out to the country was a God-send!!! Get a hotel! You'll be happier and sainer for it.
Good Luck!

Kristen, what a terrible weekend, for you, Chris, and especially Sydney. And it must have been terrifying that a cause couldn't be pinpointed. Hopefully, the allergist can make some discoveries. Fortunately, most allergies can be managed well. Let's just hope it is not something she truly loves!! My understanding is that anyone can develop an allergy to anything at any time.

Todd has a good friend who is a great allergist and can make a recommendation for someone in your area if you need it.

As for the water situation, I suggest going to a hotel for a few days. I know it can be expensive, but maybe you can find an extended stay place and pay for the week. It is usually much cheaper than daily rates and has a kitchen, etc. And you would have water for showers.....

Kristen, first off, thank God your daughter is okay now! How horrifying! Secondly, I didn't know you had surgery. Try to take care of yourself too, I know it is hard when life is crumbling all around you. And the water, that sure is a challenge. It is horrible when you get dealt a hand like that. Please take care, and try to stay sane this week. I think your hourly approach is a good one. I'll be thinking of you and yours,
