Eggbeaters With Yolk

I mentioned yesterday that I tried out a “new” variety of Eggbeaters. I was going to give a review of another product first but someone requested to know more about the Eggbeaters.

I found the Eggbeaters Southwestern Style with whole eggs.  I really liked the flavor. It much faster than adding in my own red & green peppers, onions & spices. I made Chris & I both a bagel, eggbeater, cheese sandwich for breakfast yesterday.

I had tried the “original” Eggbeaters Southwestern Style some time back. I feel like these taste more rich. I think it is because there is whole egg in them.

The only downside of the Eggbeaters with whole egg is that they have fat in them because of the yolk. NI for 1/4 cup is 40 calories, 1.5 grams fat/ 0 grams fiber.

Overall, I was very happy with these.  The Eggbeaters with whole egg are still less in points than a regular whole egg.

I will be buying these again!~

    I agree with you on the taste of these Kristen. It was very funny to read your review today, because I had an omelet made with these egg beaters last night for supper. A great find. I had found them earlier in the summer but had not seen them for a few months. So in the place of those eggs I used regular egg beaters and added some simply salsa from Tasteful Simple to make my omelet.
