Weigh-In Results
Filed under Day to Day by kristen at 6:10 am on Nov 24 2008
I weighed in on Saturday. If you remember my weigh-in from last week, you know that I was frustrated that I stayed the same. This past week, I logged 12 miles between running and the elliptical. So on Saturday, I went in to our Weight Watcher center. I was down 1.4 pounds. I was really happy with that loss.
So far for my WW week (Saturday through Friday), I ran 1 mile. Today I hope to get a run in. I have already planned out my workouts during the holiday week. Here is the plan so far.
Tuesday-Elliptical at the YMCA
Wednesday-Elliptical at the YMCA
Thursday- run on the treadmill before anyone gets here for our Thanksgiving Dinner
Friday-most likely a run on the treadmill because I won’t want to fight the traffic
I went through our Thanksgiving meal and figured out the points that I am going to eat. I went as far as to figure out what I would eat for breakfast and lunch. Then I will know how many of my weekly 35 points I will have to use. I feel comfortable with my plan. I don’t think I will feel deprived.
How are you planning on keeping on program during Thanksgiving. Remember it is only one day. Not a week. Not six weeks of eating. Pick out your hurdles and plan.

You have a great mentallity about the holidays and eating. I am not even cooking T-day dinner this year. I don’t want the leftovers. We are eating at a friends house and then might bring home a little bit of the extra turkey…but that is it.

Congratulations on your weight loss and Thanksgiving planning Kristen! Way to go! I’m planning and cooking. Instead of making all the favorite sides the day of Thanksgiving, I’m making a couple of them that will keep me in my points range. Then I’ll make other points friendly sides to go with leftovers through out the week. Using up the turkey and still getting a little of the things we like to eat. It’s easier to control ingredients and plan ahead since I’m doing the cooking. Wishing you and yours a very Happy Thanksgiving!

You know, its times like this I’m glad I’m a picky eater! Its easy to not go crazy during a meal that I don’t particularly like! (its the necessary evil fast food on the road that will get me!) Thanks for the pep talk!
You rock.
