Shoutin’ from the Rooftop

Well, I have a long list of new recipes to try. Just got home from the grocery and spent way more than I was expecting. The cost of food is getting to be ridiculous.

I decided to try out making apple butter. I am very happy with the results. Very tasty. My plan is to post the recipe tomorrow. I also have four new recipes on the menu for this upcoming week. I find that when I am cooking and experimenting in the kitchen, I am more focused on counting my points.

Chris & I are going to the Ball State Homecoming game tomorrow. We also found out today that our friend is taking us with him to the Cub’s playoff game on Wednesday. I cannot say how excited we are. We are huge Cub’s fans. Maybe this will be the year that the Cub’s do something great. Don’t want to say too much. LOL. Here is a picture of me with Sydney & Chris at the game last Saturday with Wrigley Field. This was the game that the Cub’s cinched a playoff spot.
