We are home

We got home from Chicago last night. We had a wonderful trip. It was so nice to get away. The girls had fun at the American Girl Store. We had perfect weather. We picked the Cub’s game in March. Who would have thought we picked the perfect game? The Cubs cinched the NLC division. There was such a great atmosphere at the game.
I appreciate every one’s posts and emails since I posted my Struggling post. It is so nice to hear that I am not alone in this journey. I think the time away was good. I feel like my head is back in the game and I can get things together. It is a day by day journey. I don’t think many people realize how hard it is to maintain the loss.
I did make my Pumpkin Oatmeal this morning. I just need to photograph it and then I will get it posted. I love how it tastes. It keeps me full for so long. It is a great breakfast especially in the fall & winter.
One last note, Roni & I were chatting about the new site last night. She said in the last 30 days, my new site has had 1,700 visitors. I was shocked. Thank you for passing on the word about my site. My only hope is that I can encourage and inspire those that are on the same journey.
Off to do some more laundry from our weekend away. :-p

I understand your struggle as well. We think as we are losing that it is hard but it is the easiest part of it all. Becoming a lifetime member and keeping it off is the most challenging thing ever!
I was in Muncie visiting family and some of them were not kind to my life style. I told them how I watch my sodium, fats, sugars so they were VERY aware. They fixed beans, cornbread and fried potatoes one night. I took 1/2 cup of beans picking out the ham. I had fresh veggies from the garden and my calorie countdown FF dairy beverage that I took with me in case I coun’t find it up there.
Each meal was like that. High sodium foods, fried foods, pizza but I did the best I could. I drank water but I’m sure I would had to have drank 200 oz daily to fluch all of that. I gained .8 but I wasn’t upset or surprised. I began my new week as soon as I stepped off the scale.
It if frustrating trying to deal with people that don’t understand or care for that matter. By the way she bought 2 pies too. Along with banana nut bread from Bob Evans (9 points a slice) I didn’t have one crumb of any of it.
Just remember on your days you are struggling that there are many WW sisters out there supporting you from wherever we are.
