English Muffin Sandwich
Filed under Food by kristen at 6:28 am on Sep 16 2008
Smart Ones has been releasing some new breakfast items in their frozen food line. I stumbled upon their new sandwich which is an egg white, cheese & English muffin. This is one without any meat. You unwrap these from the plastic package and wrap in a paper towel. Place in the microwave for 1 minute and 20 seconds. I was very pleasantly surprised at the taste. It was very tasty. The English muffin is soft and tasty. The egg white is cooked just right and the cheese has a great taste.
There are two sandwiches in each box. It is great that they are individually wrapped. Nutritional information for one sandwich: 210 calories, 5 grams fat, 2 grams fiber. Final verdict: I will buy these again without a doubt. The taste is great. I wouldn’t eat these every morning but they are great for those days that you need something fast that tastes good and that will stay within your points.
Great product!

I have tried these as well as the ones with Canadian Bacon. I like them, but I think my microwave is too powerful (if there is such a thing!) and I “fry” my cheese! So I’ll turn it down a bit and readjust.
There is another option out there…Jimmy Dean has a light breakfast sandwich made with turkey sausage, a multi-grain english muffin, egg white and cheese, and is 5 points…and it is YUMMO!!! I have a stash in my freezer, as you can get them at Sam’s Club in the freezer section! My hubby even likes them, so I know they have to be good! LOL!
All of the sandwiches keep me full for a good while…and that is a good thing!
Thanks for the reviews and the recipes Kristen!
