A Busy Day

Well, it has been quite a day. This morning’s weigh-in didn’t go so well. I was expecting a gain. But wasn’t expecting that much of a gain. My scales were showing a lower weight than at my weigh-in. Oh well. Better next week.
I got home and wanted to post a few things. My site was done. Hmm. I checked & Roni’s site had been hacked along with my site. Crazy person. Why can’t people mind their own business and leave the rest of us alone? Roni has been working all day and got us all up and running.
So while I was waiting on the site to get back up, I did something that I haven’t done in months. Yes, months. I went for a run. Wow. It felt good but I know I am going to be hurting tomorrow. Part of me wanted to do it and the other part of me wanted to veg on the couch after my crazy morning. I did it. I feel good now that it is over. Sweat is dripping off of me still. I got in 1.5 miles. Sydney was next to me on the treadmill chanting “Go Mommy Go!” She kept saying it over and over. It was motivating not to stop. I want to set a good example for my girls. I want them to see me active. I want activity to just be part of normal for them.
I have a new salad that I am off to post. It is a family favorite of ours. Plus I am making a note on the Mexican Pork Chops. I don’t want to assume anything. I am noting that you do not have to use all of the dry rub. Just use the amount that you need to get a good coating.
Off to drink some water & cool down.
