If I can live this way, you can too!

New Experience

Today it was time to renew my driver’s license. Well, it actually expired on my birthday but that is another story for another day. So this morning, Megan & I headed out to get my license renewed. I was kind of looking forward to it because I got to do something that has never happened to me. I was able to tell the employee at the license branch that I needed to change my weight. Yes, I am one of those people that always listed their weight less than they actually weighed. I did increase is some at different timees so it was more believable. I always intended to lose the weight and thought that I would get the weight off so the information would be correct!

Well, today was the day. I am happy to report that I now have a correct & truthful driver’s license. I listed my weight at exactly what it is. Oh that was such a good and satisfying feeling. I even took a picture of my old license before I went this morning. Ha! I wanted a reminder. It wasn’t a good picture. I was fat! Yuck.

On a different note, I held to my commitment and worked out yesterday. While Megan was taking her nap, I did 20 minutes of Cardio Party 3 of my Turbo Jam. It felt good. I went slow. I didn’t overdo it. I only did about half of the DVD. Since I had been so sick over the weekend, I didn’t want to push myself too much but I did want to try to get back in to a routine. I even got out my heart rate monitor (HRM) and used it. I love seeing how many calories I am actually burning.

I just posted the Pink Plaster recipe. It isn’t something that you can or should eat every day. But is a nice treat and something that you can take to a carry-in or get-together and know exactly how to count your points.

That is all for now………
