BBQ Pork Chops

Filed under Dinner by kristen at 11:26 am on Jul 07 2008

This is the new recipe that I promised. I made these on July 4th along with my grilled sweet potatoes. The whole meal was a hit with my family & my father-in-law. My mom made it the same night and said that it was one of the best new recipes she has tasted in awhile. Thanks Tammy for sharing your recipe!

BBQ Pork Chops

4 servings

1.75 pound (4 chops) pork loin center cut chops (bone-in)

4 tablespoons KC Masterpiece BBQ seasoning approximately

4 tablespoons KC Masterpiece Low Calorie Classic Blend BBQ sauce

Cover each pork chop with dry BBQ Seasoning “rub”. Rub in to meat and let it sit on counter for 15 minutes. Heat grill while meat is resting. Grill on each side for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until meat is completely cooked through. Before removing from grill, brush on BBQ sauce. Heat on grill 1 more minute on each side. serve immediately.

Note: You most likely will need to figure the nutritional information based on the pork chops that you buy. My package just happened to be 1.75 pounds for 4 chops. With package sizes varying so much, it is unlikely that you will find the exact same size. But this recipe is easy to figure because the Low Calorie BBQ sauce is the only additional ingredient with calories.

Enjoy!
