New New New

I have four new food items that I purchased recently! They are all very good and are going on the rotation. Yeah!
First is a new bar from Fiber One. Sorry, I am not going to post a picture of this because it looks like all of the other bars. It the new Oats & Strawberries with almonds. It is very tasty. Not as sweet or gooey as the Oats & Chocolate bars. There is a very small drizzle of chocolate on the top of the bar. I found this bar at Meijer. There is also a new apple & cinnamon variety. These are so new to Fiber One that they aren’t even shown on their website. NI for one bar 140 calories 3 g fat 9 g fiber.
Second, this is a new cereal to me. I bought this at Meijer too. It is by Quaker and is from their Quaker Essentials line of cereals. I bought the Crunchy Corn Bran. These look like puffed up pillows. My oldest daughter, Sydney LOVES these. I bought these on Saturday & the box is gone. They are not super sweet but have a nice flavor. Of course I didn’t eat mine with milk but as a snack. Serving size is 3/4 cup. NI 90 calories, 1 g fat, 5 g fiber. Sydney is already asking me when I can buy more.
I found a new cereal that I am totally in love with~ This is Post Cereal’s new Shredded Wheat with real Strawberries. (spoon size) NI for 1 1/4 cup is 210/1/6. I took this with me as as snack to the Indianapolis 500. There are real dried strawberries in them. 1 1/4 cup of this cereal is a lot! It is very filling. Several of my friends have tasted this & really liked it. They have several other varieties of this cereal. I am going to see if they are as point friendly as this one. Great new find!
Finally there are some new salad dressings that blew my socks off! I am so excited to share about the new kinds I tried from Wishbone. I found mine at Meijer. I have spotted several commercials about this great line of salad dressings from Wish-Bone Bountifuls. I bought two. The first one I tried is Hearty Italian. “A delectable Italian vinaigrette brimming with chunks of peppers, tomatoes, carrots & sweet onions”;. Accurate description by far! NI for 2T 15/0/0 It is great! Reminds me of a dressing that you would get on a salad at a restaurant. Tasty! It is very chunky.
The other one that I purchased is the Simply Santa Fe. “A delectable cilantro lime vinaigrette brimming with chunks of tomatoes, corn, red pepper, & onion.” Again a keeper!
