For some reason my computer is giving me fits on uploading pictures. But I am going to go ahead and post the reviews & continue to attempt to add the pictures.
1) I have talked about the Krinkle Sticks from LesserEvil Snacks. When I was at Whole Foods/Wild Oats, I decided to try another one of their snacks. Classic Kettle Corn. It is all natural, no trans-fatty acids, & low fat. NI for 1.1 ounce (about one cup) 120/2/1. A friend & I tasted this. We didn’t see how it was considered “kettle corn”. It didn’t taste like kettle corn to us at all. But it did taste like an awesome caramel corn! Thankfully there is only 3.5 servings in the entire container. I can see how this would cause a problem with portion control.
2) This is a Walmart Find that I made several weeks ago. It is a clear box of 8 individual servings of Kraft Light Zesty Italian. Walmart had to other varieties. This is great for keeping in your purse, car, or desk. I always wonder if I am really getting the light dressing when I order out. Here is a great way to make sure that you do! NI for one packet 25/1.5/0
3) Wheat Thins: Reduced Fat French Onion AND Garlic & Herb. I found these tasty new crackers at Walmart. I could not tell that they were reduced fat. The flavoring is super intense. I think they would makeĀ a great breading if crushed. NI for 16 crackers 141/4/1
4) Live Active Mixed Berry Crunch Cereal: I found this tasty new cereal at Walmart. They also have Nut Harvest Crunch Flavor. I chose the berry because the fat content was lower. It has a very tasty whole grain flakes with these sweet crunchy clusters, and dried cranberries & blueberries. NI for 1 cup: 190/2/7 with 3 grams of prebiotic fiber! Make sure to do your WW math on 1/2 cup! More bang for your buck. I love this in some low fat yogurt! Super tasty and going on my food rotation.
5) Fage 0% Greek Yogurt. I have read so many places about this Greek Yogurt. I finally found some at Trader Joe’s when I was there. It has a great consistency. Very creamy & smooth. Very tart. I can see how you could use this intead of sour cream. I drizzled 1 teaspoon of honey in to mine & it made a super tasty snack. The container that I purchased was a single serving container ( 5.3 ounces). NI for the entire container: 80/0/0. Now I just hope I can find this in a store closer to home.
Sorry, no picture of this. I forgot & threw away the cup.
