Some Interesting Finds

These first two products took me a while to like. They are a freeze-dried fruit that I found at Wild Oats in Indianapolis a few weeks ago. I bought 1) Fruit salad NI for the entire container (think the size of 8 oz of sour cream) 190/0.5/6 The “Fruit Salad” is just that…. a fruit salad. It has pears, apples, peaches, bananas, strawberries & red grapes. At first I didn’t care for this at all. It has a very interesting consistency. I have found that I can bite down on it but I love to let it dissolve in my mouth.2) I also bought “Just Strawberries” NI for entire 43 gram container is 150/2/3
Both of these are not super sweet. Check out their website www.justtomatoes.com I will buy these again. But Funky Monkey Snacks still has the market on my heart in the area of freeze-dried fruit.
Then I also bought two items from the South Beach Living Line.
1) Cherry Almond Granola Clusters NI for one packet 130/4/6 It is just granola portioned out in to individual bags. It was OK. I like cherries but this was too cherry flavored for me. Won’t buy again. I have had these for a while but forgot about them because they just didn’t hit the spot for me.
2) Dark Chocolate Fudge Covered Wafer Sticks- NI for one package of two wafers: 100/6/3 These are interesting. Not sweet at all. Pretty good. Not sure that I would buy them again because I can see myself eating a ton in a short amount of time which is interesting because they aren’t sweet. I bet they would be good with a cup of coffee. I am considering throwing the other two packages out before I eat them.
