OK. I know that you are all probably shocked by now. More food reviews in the same day. These are three reviews that I have had for almost a week and one even longer. So here we go…………………….
Cheerios Snack Mix. I picked up a bag of this because I had a coupon and my girls LOVE regular Cheerios. This is an ok snack. I wouldn’t buy it again probably. I am one of those people that just like main Cheerios. It has a flavoring that reminds me of the bagged Chex Mix. NI for 2/3 cup is 120/3.5/1 General Mills also has a cheese variety. Good thing about this mix is that it is baked & not fried. Decent snack.
This is one of my accidental discoveries. About a month ago I was at Walmart up in the deli section. This bag caught my attention so I grabbed it. These are from Sensible Portions www.sensibleportions.com I bought the sea salt variety. NI for 1 ounce (about 18 chips) 120/3.5/2
These are very tasty. Everyone that has tried them says that this “chip” reminds them of something else. We cannot put our finger on what the food is but it has a familiar taste. I check out Sensible Portions website and they have so many different tastes. Chocolate is just one of the many ones. All of their crisps are Trans-fat free and all natural.
A great “new” find.
I have heard a lot about Guiltless Gourmet. I had never been able to find their products locally. My dear friend, Kristin, said that she would pick me up a bag of these chips and bring them to me when she came to visit her family. Of course this week I saw that Marsh on McGalliard now is carrying them in the organic section of their store. Figures.
Anyway, These are the Chili Lime Tortilla Chips. At first, Chris & I were disappointed because the bag claims “now bolder taste”. We weren’t too impressed. But we just weren’t grabbing the chips with the flavoring. When you get a chip that you see has seasoning on it, that chip packs a punch. Very tasty. They have a harder crunch because they are made of corn & not flour. No trans fat! NI for 1 ounce (about 18 chips) 120/3/2
www.guiltlessgourmet.com I will be looking for their other products. I have heard great things of their desserts.
