Beef Stroganoff

This is a recipe that my Mom made all of the time growing up. I hadn’t made it in a while. It was so yummy.

Beef Stroganoff

1 pound extra lean ground beef

1/2 c. chopped onion

1 can tomato soup, reduced sodium

1 can 98% fat free condensed cream of mushroom soup, reduced sodium

1 pint fat free sour cream

5 T. Worcestershire sauce

1/2 t. salt

1/2 t. fresh ground pepper

Brown ground beef & onion until meat is cooked through. Drain off any fat. Combine remaining ingredients and heat until hot all through. Serve over rice, egg noodles or pasta. Sprinkle with reduced-fat Parmesan cheese.

10 servings: serving size 1/2 cup. NI per 1/2 cup serving: 187/10/0 (This doesn’t include any Parmesan cheese)
