Challenge Questions & A Progress Report

Good morning. Several of you had posted or emailed me questions. So I want to take a moment to clear up some things.

1) You do not need to email me or post your weight. The goal is to lose weight but if we are on-program we should lose the weight if we are being honest with our tracking or eating to satisfied.

2) I did see that it is a Leap Year. So the challenge will run all 29 days. 

3) If you would like to post on yesterday’s blog entry “Challenge” that you are going to participate that is great. I find there is accountability if you “out” yourself. It is up to you. Don’t feel like you must to compete in the challenge.

I think that covers the majority of the questions.

Recap of my yesterday: I did very well on eating. I ate my 18 daily points and 3 of my weekly flex points. I was successful with all of my 8 HG except one of my oils. I drank a ton of water. And I ran 1.34 miles for 151 calories burnt. I am very happy with how it went. The scales were down 0.8 this morning. Yeah.

I have a challenging Friday & Saturday and I am not sure how I am going to deal with it. Friday night we have a big dinner at our house. I am making all of the food. But I normally eat a very light dinner on Friday nights because of weighing in on Saturday. Hmmmm. Then we have another dinner on Saturday. I am going to have to plan very carefully.

I posted two food reviews. The broccoli & cheese is great! You must check it out. I made an Oriental Crockpot meal on Saturday. It was good but not good enough to post. I have very high standards on what I will post. I was disappointed because it was my own creation but that is OK.

I received my box of goodies from Matt at Funky Monkey Snacks! Can I just say how awesome this company is? I was touched by their generosity.  They sent us 13 bags. We have already ate one bag. We had not tried the carnival mix. It is a blend of bananas, raisins, pineapple, apple & papaya. This is a close second in my opinion to the jivealime. Chris & the girls were eating this too. I was nice enough to share. I could seriously eat a bag a day and get in 3 servings of fruit in every bag. All for 2 points! You can’t beat that.
