Shoutin’ from the Rooftop

If I can live this way, you can too!

:::sigh:::

Not sure that I really have anything to say this morning. I was up with Megan (our youngest) for almost two hours in the night. Nothing appeared to be wrong. She just wanted to be rocked by Mommy. Normally I am totally fine with some cuddle time. But am I exhausted lately. The first two things I thought of when I heard her crying were the Peanut Butter Bliss bars & the Kashi Go Lean cereal. I resisted. So I am in a sleep deprived fog this morning.

Last night we had my uncle KentĀ (who is more like my brother) over for dinner. The girls love him. I fixed a new recipe. It turned out so yummy! It was a Mexican pork tenderloin with corn & black beans. Everyone loved it. Three cheers for Kristen!!!

Kent & I were talking. I gave him some snacks to try out. Plus we had some of the Breyer’s Fat Free Chocolate Ice. He was shocked how good these “diet” items tasted. I told him that I was so glad that I was living this way now and not 25 or even 5 years ago. The food industry has made it much easier in some ways to eat better. I know I know. There are other examples where the food industry is trying to kill us. I have heard the horror stories of those on WW 25 years ago that had to make their own jello, eat liver so many times a week, etc. NO THANK YOU!

This afternoon I have to go to Anderson to meet someone. So I am going to make a stop in a grocery store chain that we don’t have here in Muncie. I have a whole list of items that I can’t find anywhere in Muncie that I am going to hopefully find. I know, I am getting my hopes up. But a girl can dream.

Tomorrow is my WI. According to my scales, I am down. So I am ready to see what tomorrow brings. I have done well tracking all of my points all week including all of my weekly flex. Big step for me.

Not sure that I will post anything over the weekend just so I can take a little breather but I might surprise you. Besides working tomorrow morning, going to the grocery, church & watching the Colt’s game, I am not sure what else I am going to get done. (Pam: Yeah a Colt’s fan!)

Hope that everyone has a great day! Count those points. Avoid mindless eating.
