Three New Chips

Filed under Food by at 7:45 am on Nov 11 2007

OK. I am all about the chips. But I am one that likes unusual ones. The first chip is one that my gal pal, Stephanie, found. When she was telling me about them, I will admit that I was very hesitant. But she gave me a few to try & the girls & I were hooked. I just bought our second bag. Chris even liked them. His comment was that he was pleasantly surprised how good they were. Friday night he asked if we had any more of the “green chips” left. We were out so I snagged another bag yesterday at Meijer.

The “green chips” are from Jensen’s Orchards. They are the Spinach & Artichoke chips. Now, i am not an artichoke fan at all. I actually despise them. But these chips are awesome! Everyone that has tasted them at my house, loves them. I found these at Meijer in the section next to the rice cakes. They were on the very top shelf. There are some other varieties of these chips that I want to try. 1 ounce of chips is 3 points!

The other two chips that I found last night at Walmart. These are a sweet chip. So yummy too. They are two versions of Sun Chips. They are both 3 points for 1 ounce. The Cinnamon version reminds me of the cinnamon twists at Taco Bell. The Honey Graham are so good. I can’t put me finger one what they remind me of. The Honey Graham bag is labeled that is a limited edition. Eek! I will be contacting Sun Chip to tell them that this can’t be! They need to keep this one. Walmart also had an apple version which I didn’t buy. I think I will be snagging a bag of those too. I am only going to post one picture of these chips because the bags look so similiar.

Note: Go to www.sunchip.com and look for the link for a $.75 off coupon. You can print two! It also will take you to another site which has other coupons. I printed off a $1 off Frigo string cheese (great for the light 1 point string cheese!) and $1 off Garden Harvest Chips (which I gave a revew for a few weeks ago)

PS For you Muncie shoppers, I found these at the north Walmart store. They were located in the isle of the meat/cheese down by the dairy end. They were on a square stand alone display.
